As a consultant, educator, psychologist, chaplain and ethicist, Mel Dowdy has concentrated on executive coaching, team development and change leadership throughout his career. He has taught graduate courses in behavioral science, conducted workshops and seminars on leadership, ethics, spirituality, high-performing teamwork and more. He earned a BA in Philosophy & Theology from North Carolina Wesleyan, a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling from Duke Divinity School, a Ph.D. in Counseling from Duke University Graduate School, and an MA in Clinical Ethics from the University of Virginia.
Peter A. DeLisle is the Leslie B. Crane Chair and Professor of Leadership Studies and Director of The Posey Leadership Institute at Austin College. Professor DeLisle’s background in education includes award-winning teaching in engineering, education and commerce. He held the William B. Severns Chair in Human Behavior in the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois in Urbana. He is a member of the executive education faculty at the University of Notre Dame, and the engineering leadership faculty at SMU. Recently, DeLisle has served as the principal instructor for the All Across Texas Student Engineering Leadership Program sponsored by the State of Texas. He was a Program Manager for the Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in human resource development leadership with an emphasis on industry/university collaboration and Phi Kappa Phi from the College of Education at the University of Texas in Austin.
Patrick J. Finneran joined Sabreliner Corporation as executive advisor to the chairman in April of 2009. He assumed his current position as President and CEO in July of 2009, is also a member of the company’s board of directors and reports to the chairman. Pat recently retired from The Boeing Company after a distinguished 22 year career in various executive posts, including being president of Boeing Support Systems. Finneran holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree from East Carolina University. He is an honor graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Basic School, U.S. Marine Corps Amphibious Warfare School, U.S. Air Force Command and Staff College, and a graduate of the National War College. He is also a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award of the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame. In April 2009, Pat received an Honorary Doctorate from Notre Dame along with President Obama.
