Brian Lohr has served as the director of MBA Admissions since 2005, after having worked as the assistant director, associate director and senior associate director for MBA Admissions. His primary responsibilities center on the recruitment and enrollment of traditional MBA and MSB candidates. Prior to his work at Notre Dame, Lohr was the director of Enrollment for St. Meinrad College Seminary, which is a Benedictine monastery located in southern Indiana. His work there was centered on the recruitment of priesthood candidates. Lohr is a native of Hollywood, Fla. He began his professional career working for Lockheed-Martin (formerly Martin-Marietta) as an account executive in St. Louis, Mo. He had account responsibility for Boeing, Whirlpool and Metal Goods. Lohr was also a product manager for Datcon Instrument Company prior to changing careers to higher education in 1995. Lohr earned a B.A. degree in English from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Penn., and was a three-year letter winner on the football team playing for College Football Hall of Fame coach Joe Fusco. He also earned an M.S. in Administration from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and was class president during his experience. In 2013, Brian won the University of Notre Dame Presidential Values Award.
