Carol L. Elliott has worked as the director of Newswriting for the Mendoza College of Business since September 2006. Carol’s duties include maintaining media relations on behalf of the college and contributing to the Mendoza College Web site, as well as writing for and serving as managing editor for Notre Dame Business magazine. Previously, she was a business writer and columnist specializing in consumer reporting before becoming a Features Editor for The South Bend Tribune in South Bend, Ind. Elliott has won three state journalism awards for an in-depth reporting series and served as a speaker for local community groups and journalism classes. She has a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Business Management and Administration from Indiana University South Bend.
