NBCUniveral announces senior adverting sales appointments

NBCUniversal announced today four appointments in its News Group’s advertising sales organization. Tom Stevens has been promoted to the newly created role of Senior Vice President, NBCUniversal News Group Sales where he will have strategic oversight of the sales partnerships for NBC News, CNBC and MSNBC to open doors for new client partnerships. Christina Glorioso has joined the company as Senior Vice President, NBCUniversal News Group Advertising Sales Client Solutions, a newly created role, to further develop unique marketing opportunities for clients across the News Group in partnership with relevant NBCUniversal properties. Effective immediately, Stevens and Glorioso will report to Mark Miller, Executive Vice President for Advertising Sales, NBCUniversal News Group, who oversees the News Group Ad Sales division, including strategic sales, pricing and planning, new client development as well as marketing and client solutions.

Glorioso will join NBCUniversal with nearly 20 years of marketing and sponsorship experience, after most recently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Majesco Entertainment for the past three years. In that role, Glorioso led all aspects of marketing and the development of strategic partnerships and cross promotions for the company. From 2004-2010, Glorioso held multiple stints at Viacom ranging from Vice President, Marketing Promotions, MTV Games and Program Enterprises where she helped launch the Rock Band and Dance Central video game franchises. She also served as Vice President, Viacom Plus, working with Fortune 100 advertisers. At Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, Glorioso served in various marketing roles from 1999-2003, where she marketed and sold sponsorships across the company portfolio.
