VERGO Interactive (VERGO),
the digital marketing company that connects institutions of higher learning
with students exploring options for post-secondary education, announced today
that Anthony
D. (Don) Fiorentino has joined the company as Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) to drive long-term strategic business planning and provide
executive oversight of its sales organization.
Most recently, Fiorentino was Vice President of Sales for
Government Solutions at NECAM Enterprise Solutions Group with responsibility
for P&L, strategy and sales. Fiorentino also held senior leadership
positions in the global sales organizations of Avaya and Lucent Technologies,
and spent 18 years with AT&T as a member of the company's executive sales
team. Fiorentino graduated from Notre Dame University
with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, and earned a Master of
Business Administration in Marketing from Adelphi University in
Garden City, NY.

Fiorentino succeeds the former CEO who will transition to
Chief Marketing Officer and assume oversight of the company's media, marketing
and daily operations. VERGO also announced that the company has added key
positions in the media, marketing and information technology departments,
representing a 66 percent increase in staff growth since the beginning of the
year.
