Benjamin Gilfillan and Quinn Bailey (MSACCT ‘05) have been named recipients of Second Prize in the 2006 Arthur W. Page Society Case Writing Competition in Corporate Communication. Their case, ChoicePoint: Personal Data and the Loss of Privacy, explored a range of issues associated with privacy and the protection of personal data, along with reputational complications for the Atlanta-based company that manages those files.
Gilfillan and Bailey will share a $1,500 case prize and a much-coveted resume entry for their work.
Julie Ratliff and David Lee, (MBA ’06), have been named recipients of Third Prize in the 2006 Arthur W. Page Society Case Writing Competition in Corporate Communication. Their case, CitiGroup: Restoring Ethics and Image Before Growth, won widespread praise from the judging panel and will be recognized, along with Gilfillan and Bailey 's work, at the Society's annual Spring Seminar Dinner in New York, April 6t, 2006.
Ratliff and Lee will share a case prize of $800, along with the knowledge that their case will be in use at numerous business and communications schools in this country and abroad during the academic year ahead. First Prize in the competition went to a case writing team from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
