Most accountancy students actively participate in a variety of business clubs and honor societies. Both Beta Alpha Psi and the M.S. in Accountancy Association provide student access to a wealth of career enhancing programs and assist students in establishing professional contacts.

Students may also wish to participate in a variety of community service projects, such as the Tax Assistance Program, which provides free income tax service to low-income individuals in northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan. Other community service projects include Habitat for Humanity, the South Bend Center for the Homeless, and Ronald McDonald House.

On campus many students enjoy various athletic events, whether it be watching the nationally followed football team or playing co-ed softball with classmates. The Notre Dame Rec Center, a state-of-the-art athletic facility, offers a variety of intramural sports.  These include tennis, racquetball, squash, basketball, swimming, volleyball, golf, soccer, and softball.
