Description

Beginning this January, the Office of Public Affairs and Nonprofit Professional Development at the Mendoza College of Business are sponsoring a "Nonprofit Governance Breakfast Series" in response to this community need.  This four-part series (January 17, February 21, March 21 and April 18) will focus on the importance of Board Governance, Budgeting and Finance, Nonprofit Law and Board Roles and Responsibilities.  The sessions will provide opportunities for networking and sharing of best practice as well as the expert training from our faculty leaders.  We believe offering this series to faculty and staff board members and to our nonprofit community leaders will improve the boards that function within our community.  The cost to participate is $100/person (which covers all four sessions, breakfast and materials).
