Description

Julia C. Silverman is the co-founder and Chief Social Officer of Uncharted Play, Inc., where she oversees the distribution, curricular programming, and monitoring & evaluation of the company's social impact initiatives worldwide. Her work as the co-inventor of the SOCCKET, an energy-harvesting soccer ball, has received global recognition, including awards from the Harvard Foundation, the Women in the World Foundation, and McKinsey Consulting. Prior to launching her company, Julia worked at the World Bank in the Africa Region Sustainable Development. She graduated with honors from Harvard University with a degree in Social Anthropology and Economics. Julia is currently pursuing her M.B.A. at Harvard Business School where she is a resident entrepreneur at the Harvard Innovation Lab.
