Amid sunny skies and the anticipation of an Irish win over Boston College, the 2011 alumni tailgates wrapped up the season on Nov. 19.

With an average of almost a thousand attendees per game and more than 400 alumni stopping by at least once, the annual tailgates provided alumni, faculty, staff, students and guests with the opportunity to enjoy a buffet of food and refreshments, play games and reconnect with one another. The tailgates were held in the Mendoza College of Business courtyard and atrium before each home football game. Despite several rainy forecasts, the weather was beautiful for five out of six of the events.
