Vance Tang joined KONE as President and CEO, KONE Inc. and Executive Vice President & Area Director Americas, KONE OY in February 2007. Prior to joining KONE, Vance served as Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell’s Building Control Systems business. Before joining Honeywell, Vance spent over 14 years at Trane in a variety of senior leadership roles, departing as Global Business Leader & Vice President, Trane Global Controls and Contracting. Vance serves in various board capacities and as a volunteer with organizations including American Woodmark, Inc., National Elevator Industry, Inc., Executives Club of Chicago, Junior Achievement and the Center for Creative Leadership. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in electrical and computer engineering and an M.B.A. He lives near Chicago with his wife and two children.
Chuck Moore has been the Senior Vice President, Human Resources at KONE, Inc. since 2000. He is currently the Vice-Chair for the National Elevator Industry, Inc. Trust Committee and a past NEII Board Member. Mr. Moore’s entry into the human resources arena began in 1977 as a Workers Compensation Representative for Island Creek Coal Company, a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum. He held various leadership positions with Wirlpool from 1992 to 2000. Mr. Moore is a graduate of Marshall University.
Michael DeCicco, Jr. has been Director, Human Resource Systems and Organization Development with KONE, Inc. since 2007. Mr. DeCicco has over 20 years of leadership experience in various senior human resources roles with ACCO Brands, Sandoz Agro, Skil-Bosch Power Tools and Siemens Medical Systems. Mr. DeCicco earned his BS degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Human Resource Management from DePaul University where he continues to mentor students and alumni.
