Alice A. Martin is Vice Chairman and Chief People Officer of NIBCO INC., a worldwide manufacturer of flow control system solutions for the residential and commercial construction markets for over 100 years.
Ms. Martin has been with NIBCO, a privately-held Elkhart, Indiana-based manufacturing company, since 1995 and has held a variety of positions in that time. Martin is the President and Co-founder of The Rex and Alice A. Martin Foundation, a charitable foundation which funds major projects for children in all of NIBCO's site locations. She also serves on the following charitable Boards of Directors: the Texas State Board of CASA, the Indiana Youth Institute, Elkhart General Hospital, WNIT - Public Television, the Ruthmere Foundation and Indiana University South Bend.
Martin has been honored many times for her leadership and philanthropy. Most recently, she was honored with the "Sagamore of the Wabash" Award - the state of Indiana's highest award. Alice has also been honored by WNIT - Public Television, Rotary International, the Presidents' Summit for America's Youth, the Indiana State Senate and the Indiana House of Representatives. In 1997, Alice Martin was awarded the Public Broadcasting System's National Leadership Award.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University and a masters degree in business administration from the University of Illinois.
