Dr. Patrick Minnis is involved in the study of remote sensing of the atmosphere and the Earth's surface. His research focuses on the characterization and measurement of clouds, aerosols and radiation for the study of climate. He leads a team that has major research responsibilities for the development and application of advanced data analysis techniques to interpret satellite measurements of clouds and radiative characteristics of the Earth.
