The mission of the Mendoza Graduate Alumni Board (MGAB) is simple:
to keep you connected to the College, to the University and to each other.
“Notre Dame family” is not a cliché, but the treasured centerpiece of what
makes this place so special, and the lifeblood of its enduring impact and
legacy far beyond Notre Dame’s physical borders.
To accomplish this mission, the board is charged with such
significant tasks as promoting alumni relations, fostering the ideals of the
College and University; supporting current students through mentoring and
career help; and identifying marketplace trends that could impact Mendoza’s
future direction.
“There is no finer example of the true spirit of excellence at
Notre Dame than that which is demonstrated by the students and faculty of the
Mendoza College of Business,” says new MGAB member Daniel Buck (’79). “Their
work allows for increased prestige to the Notre Dame educational experience,
and enhances the image, character, and success of the University as a whole.
“I wanted to be more supportive of their efforts and help others
experience the values and contributions that come from a Notre Dame education.”
And while MGAB’s mission is simple in one sense, it also can be a
challenge, since we all battle the kind of busyness that makes staying
connected no easy task. We’re thankful to all of you who stepped up to offer
your valuable time to serve as a board member.
Following is a list of the current MGAB. Each member serves a
three-year term, and may serve two consecutive terms. If you have a great idea
for promoting alumni relations, please reach out to
Tim Ponisciak, Director of Graduate Alumni Relations, at (574) 631-4859 or tponisci@nd.edu.
