Fanning Center for Business Communication

Eugene D. Fanning Award

The Eugene D. Fanning Award is presented annually by the Center for Business Communication to one woman and one man in the Mendoza College of Business who demonstrate exceptional achievement in Business Communication. The recipients receive this award in the autumn of their senior year. Criteria for the award include excellence in such skills as writing, speaking, listening, and interpersonal communication. In addition, the candidates must demonstrate leadership potential, initiative, integrity, high moral character, and respect for the dignity and rights of others. This award involves the annual presentation of tangible mementos in addition to a scholarship prize.
