Marc was a senior writer at FORTUNE from 1996 to 2008. He wrote cover stories about the greening of Wal-Mart, spirituality in business, Warren Buffett’s electric car company BYD and Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson. He has led Brainstorm: Green, FORTUNE’s conference about business and the environment, since 2008.
Marc is also the author of four books, including Faith and Fortune: How Compassionate Capitalism is Transforming American Business (Crown Business, 2004). He has a B.A. from Yale University and lives in Bethesda, MD.
